Long promised post

I promised months ago that I would post some pictures from our riverboat cruise of the Columbia River Gorge last fall. Life got busy and I kept putting it off. I am making an effort to keep my blog updated more frequently, so I decided to finally post some photos from the cruise. Ok...pick yourselves up off the floor (where you ended up after fainting from seeing that I was finally getting around to this)... and enjoy.

In September Scott and I joined his parents and his siblings and their spouses on a week long cruise of the Columbia River area. We flew to Portland, OR, where we boarded the Queen of the West, a Majestic America cruise boat.

For many of us, the trip began as we gathered at the Albuquerque Temple. We had a wonderful time and created some wonderful family memories.
We left Albuquerque early the next morning, flying to Portland. This photo shows us gathered outside the Portland Airport, excited and ready for our upcoming adventure.
The bus that took us to the boat, and followed us along our cruise route, to take us on land based adventures and side-trips

More to follow in days to come...stay tuned.

(I don't know why, but that was stuck in my head today, and I started laughing...)

Nicole saw these pictures, and said..."wasn't that forever ago?"

I think she's looking forward to visiting next week. Thanks for helping watch after her while I'm gone.

Love, P.

Just seeing the bridges in Portland makes me miss it and look forward to the Rose Festival this year.
