The Vallecito area was beautiful this morning! The prettiest we've seen it since the devastating fires several years ago. The greenery is returning, the water level is high, the surrounding mountains still have snow...and well, see for yourselves. It is gorgeous!

I love these pictures, Earlene! Almost made me cry just looking at them. What a special place. I really love the picture of the bearskin- what happened to that guy's nose? It has always been that way! :) I remember being so scared to climb up in the attic because of that bear! I wish I could be there this year. I'm grateful we got to make a trip up last year.
It is good to see it so green and has lots of water. I remember the pictures from the year of the fire and it was all so dry and brown. It looks like a little bit of heaven with everything greened up. Very peaceful. I'm glad you got away together. You guys have been so busy for the last couple years. Love you, Charlotte
