Joy!

What a joy it is to be grandparents! What a fun week! We were blessed to see little Allison over the weekend. What a cutie! She is talking up a storm and growing up so quickly and has learned so much since we saw her in May. She can even identify a hexagon! Not bad for a just turned 2 year old, huh? She has a fun little laugh and warmed right up to us this trip. She really hit it off with Papa! And loves her Aunt Julia, too. :) My only complaint about the trip is that it went by way too fast. But, we brought lots of fun memories home with us.

Then on Tuesday I picked little Gabe up in Page, AZ, and brought him home to spend the week with us. What a sweetheart! He's changing like crazy, too, so it is fun to have a whole week to enjoy his vibrant little spirit. He's a busy boy...and I have been a busy grandma. He's not quite walking yet, but gets around as fast as he could if he were. But then he wears himself out and sleeps like a rock. 12 hours/night. Tomorrow night he gets some fun time alone with Grandpa, while Mom and Julia (and a couple of her friends) head to Albuquerque for a Carrie Underwood concert. Fun stuff!
