I just thought I'd update everyone on Paul and Nicole's move. They left Rexburg this morning early and are still on the road. Paul is driving the moving van, and towing their car on a trailer behind it. Nicole is traveling with Taylor and her parents, in her parents car. Paul just called at about 8:15 to let me know that he is just outside of Cortez, CO and Nicole and her parents are ahead of him. He has to go a bit slower because he is in the van, and because he is pulling the trailer.
He said that they have had good weather wherever they have traveled. There is snow just about everywhere, but the roads have been pretty clear. That is a blessing, considering the storms of the past few days.
Anyway, I thought I'd let you all know that they are safe. Keep them in your prayers, as they will be back on the road in the morning, heading to Los Alamos.
Julia left yesterday for Albuquerque, for All-State Choir. We will go down on Saturday EARLY, for her concert. We had planned on going down Friday evening and spending the night, but it looks like we need to stay here because of the dog, Tanger.
Tanger is under the weather. Seems that she has hurt her back...a common ailment in dachshunds. She is on pain meds and steroids and we will see how she does in the next week. Poor thing. She is pretty miserable. She has been ordered on bed rest, basically, so she has to stay in her wire crate all the time, to keep her from walking around...to give the back a chance to heal.
Just thought I'd keep you updated on all that is going on. Thanks for your love and support.
Love, Earlene

Thanks for letting us know about Paul and Nicole. I'm glad that they are traveling so well. I hope that moving all goes well for them.
We didn't see the Ogden temple, but we drove all over Ogden, so we thought we'd count it anyway. :) I'm glad to know it looks just like Provo. We had a lot of fun looking at all the temples. Durango and Silverton were beautiful too, just enough snow to make them really sparkle.
I hope Tanger gets better soon. Oh, your snow pictures are beautiful too. Anyway, good luck to Julia, and to you gusy going for her concert. I'm so glad we got to come down and see all that area, so that I can picture you going place now better. Kind of neat. :) Love you all lots. Alicia
