My kids have always inspired me by the fun dates that they go on. So frequently there are no good movies available and videos get old at times, but they have always been good at coming up with fun options. Here are a couple of pictures from last night. Julia and Jake played with legos (we have a drawer full of them from Jed and Paul's childhood). They worked together on this "resort". What fun. I worked with them for awhile, too. They planned and created and I sorted legos and helped them find the right colors and sizes. Another night they went roller-blading/skateboarding with friends at a carpet warehouse that belongs to one of the dads. And one night they made tin-foil dinners at Jake's house--they have a fire pit in the back yard. A couple of weeks ago they made music videos. I think it is great that they come up with such fun and varied ideas. They have already compiled a list of fun activities for the summer. I'll miss all the fun around here when Julia leaves home in a couple of years! In the meantime, let the good times roll. :)

Wow, they really went to town on their resort! Fun stuff. Legos are great, truly timeless I think. :) Sounds like they are very creative. Love ya! Alicia
Looks like so much fun! I wish we had gone on more creative dates when I was in High School. We got too caught in movies, dances, and videos. Boring! Looking back I wish we'd had more fun like you guys.
Good Times. Good Times.
We admire you Julia Gulia (and Jakie Pooh). Thanks for your goodness! and your good sense of humor. By the way, Nicole and I want to play with the Lego's next time that we're in Farmington (whenever that may be.)
