AUGHHHH!

OK...so I remembered to plug my camera in to charge it all night last night, so it would be all ready to take pictures of Baby Cadence, Taylor, etc. It was fully charged when we left Farmington, but by the time I pulled it out to take pictures in Los Alamos, the battery was almost completely drained. So, apparently it just doesn't hold a charge anymore. Which explains why I have had a hard time taking good pictures the past few times I have used it. I'll need to get a new battery before I head back up there next week. I guess that happens after 6 years. :) Anyway, because it was all but dead, it wouldn't focus. And it was SO slow, so people got tired of posing, and I just couldn't catch Taylor's smiles fast enough. But, here are a few shots we got. Paul has more and will be blogging them later.

We were just there for a few hours, but it was great fun to see Cadence (and the rest of the gang). It was fun to be welcomed by Taylor's shrieks of delight, and sad to see her big tears as we left. In fact, she grabbed her shoes and started running down the sidewalk after us. See you again soon, sweetie. :)

I love the sparkle in Taylor's eyes. She just glows when she smiles and you can almost hear her laugh. I'm glad you got to go see them. Daddy and Carole made a trip like that to see Alicia and it is so important. Even though they can't remember you being there, you can tell them when they are older. Love you
