I had a dinner party here in our home last night. The new Stake Relief Society presidency wanted to do something to honor the outgoing Stake R.S. Presidency, to thank them for their nearly 6 years of service. So, we decided to host a dinner in their behalf. I was a little hesitant to do it here, since our kitchen is still not quite done, but decided to go ahead with it. We kept it simple. We served a nice salad followed by a couple of different soups, served in bread bowls--yummmmm! And followed up by a couple of yummy desserts. We all chipped in and provided part of the food, so it wasn't too much work for anyone. With the Christmas decorations all up, a fire going in the fireplace, and Christmas music playing in the background....well, I felt pretty cozy and hope others did too. We haven't had anyone over in quite awhile, so it was fun to open up our home during the holidays. Here are just a few pics I took as we were getting ready.

Your kitchen is beautiful!
WOW - absolutely beautiful. Very elegant and serene. I love your new kitchen. Very pretty . Love, Charlotte
Thank you especially the pics, of the Nativity Set. Brings back sweet memories. Love your treesand other decorations too. Mweey ChristmasLove Mother
Beautiful decorations but ... how many Christmas trees do you have? and how many presepe? Usually, here in Italy we put Jesus on the cradle only at midnight (between 24 and 25 of course)and in Rome all the children go to Piazza S. Pietro to have their small Jesus blessed by the Pope.
I love you all, Giovanni
Your house looks fantastic! I LOVE your kitchen! :) (And I love soup in bread bowls - what a great idea.)

I have all the same Fisher Price Christmas Sets...this year I got santa and his sleigh. I think the Nativity set, little drummer boy, etc...they are so cute. Your christmas feast looks much more elegant than ours! I will have to glam it up more next year. :)
