Spring Has Sprung...

My parents taught us a silly little rhyme when we were children which goes like this:

Spring has sprung,
The grass is rizz,
I wonder where the flowers iz?

We have had a longer and wetter winter than usual here this year. We have been grateful for the moisture and will continue to welcome any that comes our way. But, with the warmer temperatures and sunnier skies, we have been looking for signs of spring. Ours are much more subtle than Jed's recent postings...but, here are our first signs of spring.

A lone flower in our front courtyard

and the first lizard of the season (shhhhhh...don't let Tanger know that they are back. She loves to chase them)

too late, I already web-chatted with Tanger to let her know about the lizards before you told us not to :)

Fun lizard! I used to love seeing lizards in hawaii, they were so fun. I love the pictures on the way to Cedar too, they were beautiful. Love you! Alicia
