Fun with the Aunties

I don't know who had more fun in Cedar City last weekend, Gabe or the Aunties--Sandra and Susan. All three of them spent a lot of time down on the floor exploring Gabe's toys, books, etc. He loved the attention they gave to him, and I don't think they had too bad of a time either. :) Fun for all!

He also enjoyed the Hokie Pokie Elmo doll that someone from church sent home for him. It didn't take long at all before he figured out how to make it work and he loved it when Elmo would "Do the Hokie Pokie and turn himself around". After all, "That's what it's all about."

He opened a few of his birthday presents early--not all, but a couple. He actually seemed really pleased with the clothes. It was kinda funny. But, his favorite part was the shiny paper and bows. It was great to be there and see him open some of the presents. More fun to come in a couple of days, Gabe!

This is one Grandma who can't believe it has been a whole year since I held you in my arms just hours after you were born. I bet Grandma Ellis feels the same way.

What joy our grandbabies bring to us! Our hearts and thoughts go out to little Alli tonight and hope that she is feeling better and running around again soon. We all love you, Alli!

CRAZY! That's what it is - I can't believe that it's been 1 year!!! I'm a little freaked out that the rest of the years will only go by faster - it terrfies me really.....

I'm glad everyone was able to spend last weekend with us, it was a great time, we loved visiting - we love you guys!

Well Gabe's napping, and as soon as he gets up we're having cake, ice cream and presents! Lots of fun!

Thanks again - and we love you!

Love, Joanna

P.S. He has figured out how to make the fire engine sound, and gets excited whenever he sees the truck you gave him - very cute!
