The big girl's choice dance at Julia's high school is called GAG, which stands for Girls Ask Guys. It is similar to Sadie Hawkins, or MORP (Prom spelled backwards). The general theme was Las Vegas Nights and then there were themes for each day of the week. So, it was a big week with nightly dates and activities, ending with the big dance last night. For the dance the couples wear matching shirts. Julia took Jake (no surprise there) and they had a great time. They started the evening at Johnny Carino's and then they came over here for a few pictures and then headed off to the dance. They doubled all week with some friends of theirs, Nick and Candace. Their friends have a joke about Ninjas, so she went all out (at his request) and made ninja costumes. Fun stuff! We thought we'd share a few pictures of the evening...if we can figure this out. :) Cute kids, huh? The last picture is of Julia's fun, funky hairstyle. A girl from our ward did it for her. It was super cute.
