Because, he was not aware that Julia had driven down to Cedar City, from Rexburg, and that she and Joanna's family had then headed our way. They arrived in Farmington in the middle of the night on Easter morning, and had sacked out for a few hours at our friends, the Buchanans. So, just as we were about to head out the door to church on Sunday morning, the doorbell rang and this is what Scott saw when he went to answer the door...
SURPRISE!!! We enjoyed a wonderful Easter that involved church, an Easter egg hunt, family and birthday celebrations. We spent the evening out at Scott's parents house. MANY of the Rhien cousins were "home" for the weekend. We had quite a crowd. Bigger than I ever remember. We talked, and laughed, played Duck, Duck, Goose, and watched the little kids getting to know each other. What fun!
I'll post more of our fun at a later date, because Blogger has been eating my pictures all night. :) More to come!

Such a precious day for your family. The pictures just show so much joy and love. What a blessing to have such a great extended family and such precious babies.
And I have to say I am still in love with that screen door.
Are the wizards in your yard this time of year?? do they eat the Easter eggs if you use real eggs, i wonder??
LOVE YOU. Tell us about your next class, K?
Hurray for blogging. I LOVE all the pics. It is like we were there. How fun.

Oh, that sounds SO fun! I wish I were one of the many Rhien cousins in town! I love that last picture of Dad and Scott. I hope he had a great birthday!
I love you and miss you-

Yup, Char...the wizards are out in full force once the spring sunshine comes. And I don't think they'd eat the eggs. :)
