Heceta Head

As I probably mentioned about this time last year, the Oregon Coast is one of my favorite places on earth. I was blessed to return there with Joanna and Gabe this past week. Ahhhh! It was fun to share it with Gabe. He loved the seagulls and crashing waves (from afar) but didn't know quite what to think of the waves that got close to him. Heceta Head was beautiful, as always, although we were there when the tide was super high, so you couldn't walk along the beach much, or get down to the tide pools. We also took him to the Newport Aquarium and he loved the fishies and the otters, etc. We were blessed with nice weather for the days we spent at the coast. It had snowed there the week before, so I felt like we were really lucky. Here are just a few shots we took at Heceta Head.

I love the pics of Gabe with his little hat, sitting on the drift wood. Looks like fun introducing another generation of family to the Oregon Coast. Fun! We loved seeing you so much, and hopefully we won't have to wait so long between visits. :) Love Alicia
